Join and leave groups
Groups are the base of Geochat, so joining and leaving them are a easy tasks to perform. You ca do this from your mobile phone sending SMS.
Join a group via SMS
To join a group via SMS send “join GROUP_ALIAS” replacing “GROUP_ALIAS” with the alias of the group. Example: “join FOI”.
If the group does not require authorization you will be joined instantly. If the group requires authorization you will need to wait for the administrator of the group to approve your request to join.
You can leave a group via SMS anytime you want.

Leave a group via SMS
If you are member of a group and you want to Leave, send “leave GROUP_ALIAS” replacing “GROUP_ALIAS” with the alias of the group you want to leave. Example: “leave FOI”.
