The owner or admin of a group which has a Local Gateway configured, can share it with any other group. The admins of the other group get the gateway in their group page and need to enable it to be able to start using it. The admins of the group that created the local gateways can revoke the sharing at any time.
Messages sent to local gateways are routed following this rules: 1) if group is specified and available for local gw, send to that group. 2) if group specified and not available for local gw. return error. 3) if only 1 group in local gw, use that one 4) if only 1 group which sender has membership in local gw, use that one 5) if many groups which sender has membership in local gw, but one is default, use that one. 6) if many groups an no default, send it to the last specified group.
See Local gateway message routing for more details.
