The syntax of the commands has been completely redefined. We have now 3 sets of syntaxes: basic, intermediate and advanced. The old commands are still supported. Read more at: Commands Reference
Local Gateways can now be configured to relay outgoing messages through a Skype account but users receiving the messages get the SMS as if it was sent from the mobile phone plugged in to the computer.
The whole website has been localized to Thai and can now be localized to any additional language with almost no effort besides the translation. A helper tool has been prepared to support the translation process.
Accounts can now be deleted by clicking “Delete my account” in the profile page. The use is asked to type his username to avoid any accidental deletion. If the user is the only owner of any group, he is alerted and requested to delegate ownership before deleting his account.
The owner of a group can configure a limit in the number of members he wants to allow in his group. Once this limit is reached, users can't join to the group until someone leaves.
Sending “lang th” or “lang en” switches the language of Geochat system messages to thai or english.
Before, if a user created his account from the web, he needed to verify his email account to activate his account. Now, users can activate their accounts by filling the confirmation code in the Phone step of the wizard, without validating their emails.
If using a Skype account, the local gateway detects if it runs out of credit, and continues using the phone as the outgoing channel for messages.
The administrator of a group receives an early alert when the messages quota of his group drops below 25%. Before, he was alerted only when the quota reached 0.
When adding a new feed to a group, if the feed already has items, the website shows a confirmation dialog asking: 'Do you want to send the existing NN items in the feed to the group? If you choose not to, only new items that arrive from now on will be sent.'
A bug was not allowing users with email disabled to reset their password through that email account. Fixed.
Authenticated RSS Feeds where not working in Geochat. Fixed.
The issue was with Feeds that did not have a publication date, but only an updated date. Now, during the import, if items don't have a publication date, the updated date is used.
Map and my groups were having problems in IE6. Fixed.
When trying to delete a feed subscrption, a confirmation is now displayed.
If trying to login after the session expired from a page other than the homepage, users where getting a “page not found” error. Fixed.
