1. Write a alias, title and description for the group
2. Decide if the group will be public or private. This means that your group will be only reached by the people you invite to, and no one else will be able to see it.
3. Decide if the group will allow new members to join directly or if the group administrator will need to approve new members requests to join.
4. Decide to make the group a Chatroom or not. A chatroom group is a type of group in which every message that any member sends is forwarded to all the group members. If you leave the checkbox unchecked, messages sent to the group will only be visible in the website.
5. Decide if the Group owner will receive a copy of all the messages sent in the group. This option only applies on non - Chatroom groups

Be careful the items followed by the padlock icon cannot be changed after group creation.

This will be used as default location on the map for new messages that did not specify position.

Your have four different ways to set the default location for your group.

• Address: Write your address in the address box circled in the image below and the click Find.You should see your address located in the map, if you do not see it try another search changing the syntax of it. The expected syntax is StreetName number, city, state(optional), country. If the search fails try with one of the other ways.

• Country: Select your country from the list and then click find.

• Decimal: You need to enter the map coordinates for your location
  • This means you have to specify the latitude and longitude of your position as shown in the image below

• DMS: You need to enter the map coordinates for your location.
