In My Profile you can edit:

• Display name: it is the text that appears before each message, ex: Dr. Marcus Okotcha: We need 2 tents. To edit it you just need to click inside the text box and enter a new name.
• Password: it has to be at least 4 characters. To change your password you need to click on the Change password link, you can see it marked with a red circle in the image below. For help on this topic click here
• Picture: You can add an picture of yourself or something that repesents to your profile. To change picture click on Change picture link, you can see it marked with a green circle in the image below. For help on this topic click here

You will also be able to

• define your default group, this might be the most important group for you. This default group will be the one that is first shown to you in all the instances of Geochat.
• edit the timezone where you are located. What's TimeZone? which can be updated according to your location.
• select your language.
• insert your family name.
• insert your organization name if there is one.

After any change remember to click update if you want to accept the changes or cancel if you want to return to the previous value

• 1 Write the password you are currently using.

• 2 Write the new password you want to have. Remember that it has to have at least 4 characters.

• 3 Re-enter your new password.

• 4 Click Update

• 1 Click Browse button

• 2 browse the pictures in your machine
• 3 select a picture and click Open
• 4 click Upload to get your picture online

If your picture is bigger than 80×80 pixels it will load an online tool to crop it automatically.

• This tool will crop the center of the image by default.
• You will see a small and a large preview of the croped picture.

If you want to crop the picture in a different way you just need to select the area you want to crop with the mouse

Remember to click on Crop and Finish when you are done.
